I have a metal-framed desk to which I attach these magnets. Tools and small metal candy tins then hang within easy reach of my work area, and organize my various accessories such as screws, circuits, solder, and other stuff. Magnets also hold my metal utensils against my oven while I cook! This size is wide and flat and will be difficult to remove from against a wide surface unless you can slide it to an edge. As with all neodymium magnets, they can pinch your skin, and will scratch or crack if mishandled.
