Review of Magcraft NSN0610 1/4-Inch by 1/10-Inch Rare Earth Block Magnets, 50-Count

I bought some sheet metal from the local hardware store and lined my walls with it. I do a lot of graphic oriented work so I chose to do this over a bulletin board which leaves papers torn and with holes.

I started out by using black metal disk magnets, but they weren't very strong, left black residue on the papers and were so bulky they got in the way of what I was looking at. The Magcraft magnets are a great alternative.

They barely take up any viewing space, they're really strong, don't leave a residue and just look elegant on the wall.

The only bad side is that since they're small and flat (1/4" x 1/4" x 1/10"), they're really hard to get off the metal surface if they are flat against the wall. I found that they work extremely well if you place them on the 1/10" side so they protrude from the wall. They're much easier to grab, still strong on that side and look cool too.

In all, I ordered three packs of these, happy how they turned out and I am about to order more right now.
