From personal experience, I associate Rare Earth Magnets with pinching and the snapping sound as they adhere themselves to my fire door, relatively permanently. These are strong enough to use practically like pushpins on a refrigerator, but will not pinch your fingers.
Also, they are super fun to build tiny structures with.
