Review of Magcraft NSN0620 1/4-Inch Rare Earth Sphere Magnets, 10-Count

Neodymium-Iron-Boron rare earth magnet: 1/4 sphere... The north and south poles are through an axis of the sphere, as you would expect. Strong enough to hold together *through* your hand. They'll jump 4-5 inches. Don't throw them, they seem to be chrystaline or cast metal, but chromed.

Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These sphere magnets are 0.250 inch (6.4mm) in diameter. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Max Working Temperature - 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together
