This really works. We were overcome with the little black deer flies that bite! We put up two of these fly traps and, within a week, most of the flies had been caught or disappeared allowing us to enjoy our garden. However, after a short amount of time these traps stink. But, that is the lure that attracts the flies. So it's best not to put them too close to a sitting area. You'll be amazed at how many flies are trapped. And, it has no effect on bees or other beneficial insects.
