Yes, the product kills mosquitoes... while it works. I bought the Liberty Plus and was pleased with its results for two years. In the third year it did not recharge the battery as well, did not catch mosquitoes as well. I contacted the company for service and was directed to a third party who suggested I bought a Mosquito Killing System supposedly for being more reliable. Even though we need those machines here in Louisiana (believe me), I have not had the courage to spend that amount of money yet again... not after being burnt out with the Mosquito Magnet. When you compute the high cost of the machine, propane tanks, octenol, net replacements you can almost give a price tag per mosquito killed during the life time of those unreliable machines.
